OVERVIEW

 

The Middle East is facing a water resource problem that is one of the biggest in the world. The UAE, one of the biggest producers of waste in the region, is also a leading country in the GCC in terms of waste management projects. Currently, GCC countries rank in the top 10 of world waste producers with 120 million tons of waste generated per year. Addressing the challenges of these 2 major issues in the Middle East is the main objective of our 3rd Annual Waste & Water Congress 2009.

 

Following the huge success of our 1st and 2nd Annual Waste & Water Congresses, the Waste & Water Forum is set to be an even bigger crowd puller with a new focus and theme, informative and well known speakers, interesting and new topics, international and local case studies as well as interactive panel discussions and workshops which will definitely equip participants with sufficient knowledge and exposure to sustain valuable resources.

 

Waste & Water Forum is the ideal platform for heads of water, wastewater and waste industries from around the world to meet and discuss the latest updates on water policies, latest breakthroughs in waste minimisation and management, as well as advances in wastewater treatment methods.
